@aditya shell files and venv is not the correct way to do this. There should be a devcontainer for developing within and a root Dockerfile for running production.

This is not the way to do this. Needs to be done via devcontainers and root containers. Nixos shell scripts are for personal use only.

Closing as superseded. This pre-rebaseline issue predates the Day 14 restructuring of the project's task tracking. The work it describes is now covered by properly scoped issues in the rebaseline milestones (v3.0.0–v3.6.0).
