This issue tracks the work to add missing ASV performance benchmarks for the core module. Per the project's Multi-Level Testing Mandate (CONTRIBUTING.md), every coding task must include tests at multiple levels: unit (Behave), integration (Robot Framework), and performance benchmarks (ASV). This issue addresses the missing ASV performance benchmark layer for the core module.
